As a vendor, you can process returns for your buyers. To do this, you need either the name, email address, or order ID of the buyer. (See Process returns and refunds).
Unsatisfied customers
Returns can be made no later than 180 days after the date of purchase. Returns are no longer possible after 180 days. A return is no longer possible after 180 days.
Inform members in advance that they will no longer be able to access the course in the future.
This way, you avoid queries from dissatisfied customers.
Tip
The quickest way to find orders is to use the buyer's order ID.
Ask the buyer to send you the order ID of their order so that you can process their request quickly. The buyer can find the order ID in their order confirmation email (see I have ordered from Digistore24).
How to process a return:
- Log into your Digistore24 account.
- Switch to the vendor view in Digistore24.
- Click on Reports in the menu.
Click on Transactions. - Enter the order ID in the search mask on the left-hand side. If you don't have an order ID to hand, the mask offers you further fields to help you find the order.
- Click on the Search button.
Digistore24 displays the order. - Click on the magnifying glass icon
next to the order.
Digistore24 displays the transaction details. - Scroll down to the Transactions section.
- Click on Return for the transaction.
This has the following consequences:
- After the return, Digibiz24 automatically blocks access to the course. The buyer's other courses are not affected.
- Digistore24 verifies and processes the return. The duration of the chargeback depends on the buyer's payment method and can take between one and ten working days.
