Access for coursescan end in several ways for members.
End free course access
You can terminate access for members with free course access. You can manually terminate the course access, deactivate or delete the member.
Losing data
The deletion cannot be reversed.
Deleted content cannot be restored.
Unsatisfied customers
Members lose their course access.
Inform buyers and members in advance about restrictions on course access.
This way, you avoid queries from dissatisfied customers.
Blocking due to chargeback/payment default
If there is a chargeback for a purchased course, Digibiz24 automatically blocks the member's access to the course. This also applies in the event of a payment default for subscriptions or installment payments. Other courses are not affected. (See Chargebacks and payment defaults).
Return of purchased courses
If a buyer returns a product to Digistore24 their access to the course will end. This is possible within the statutory notice period. After the return, Digibiz24 automatically blocks access to the course. Other courses are not affected.
As a vendor, you can return a course for your buyers in Digistore24.
Cancellation of subscriptions
If a buyer cancels a subscription, the course access ends at the end of the term or the period paid for.
Example:
A buyer takes out an annual subscription (i.e. a minimum term of 12 months) in April 2020 and cancels it in June 2020. In this case, the subscription would end in April 2021.
Tip
You can offer your members the option of suspending their subscription.
To do this, integrate the Subscription management component on the account page.
Members can log in, click on their profile picture and can then do the following:
- View their courses and subscriptions
- Cancel subscriptions
- Resume cancelled subscriptions with just one click
Blocking by deleting or limiting courses
If you delete a course, all members will automatically lose access to the course.
You can set access to end on a specific date. This will cause all course members to lose access to the course on that date.
