A course consists of chapters and lectures. You use chapters and lectures to define the structure and content of your course. Each chapter and lesson is displayed on a webpage within courses.
You can create chapters and lectures when you create a course.
You can only sell entire courses. You cannot offer individual lectures for sale.
Chapter
You use chapters to guide members through your course in a structured way:
- Each chapter contains one or more lectures.
- The chapter website provides an overview of the lectures included.
- Chapters have a title and a preview image, which also appear on the course website.
You can set up how chapters are displayed by using the chapter page in the course theme.
Lectures
Lectures form the learning content of your course. Digibiz24 offers you many options for creating or integrating content for your courses:
- Videos - embedded or hosted.
- Text, diagrams, images, animations...
You can create content with the editor.
You can insert your own HTML and JavaScript. - Selected files for members to download.
- Lectures have a name and a thumbnail, which also appear on the chapter's website.
You can set up how lectures are displayed by using the lecture page in the course theme.
Publication status
The publication status controls access to chapters and lectures. You publish courses after you have prepared chapters and lectures or as drip content with a time delay.
Course progress
Members can complete chapters and lessons. Completed chapters and lectures by members can be viewed as course progress.
Paths
Chapters and lectures have paths. These paths are the web addresses and are structured according to the following scheme:
https://website.digibiz24.com/course/chapter/lecture
You can set placeholders for chapters and lectures regardless of the respective title. This allows members to access a lecture or chapter directly. Non-members also have no access to the course via the path.
