The course theme is a template in which the content of the courses is displayed.
Use course themes to easily create lots of courses with a standardized design.
Digibiz24 transfers course content to placeholder components in pages in the course theme. The course theme determines how content is displayed in the placeholder components. This means that you don't need to worry about layout such as font or background color when creating content.
If you use the same course theme for all courses, your courses will have a standardized look. Moreover, you only need to change the layout in the course theme to customize all courses.
Each course has a course theme.
When creating a course, a new course theme with default settings will also be created and selected for the course.
The pages are part of the course theme. You can edit these pages by editing the course theme.
-
Course homepage
The course homepage is displayed at the beginning of the course. Members can start the course here. They can see the chapters and their progress. -
Chapter pages
The chapter page shows the lectures of a chapter. Members can see their progress here. -
Lecture pages
On the lecture page, members can see the content of a lecture.
Each page has placeholder components that display the preview and the contents of the chapters and lectures.
Course templates and course themes are not the same thing. The course theme sets the appearance of a course whereas a course template helps you to quickly create chapters and lectures.
