If you embed a tracking code on your website or its pages and landing pages, you generally need to obtain the consent of visitors. You use the cookie consent for this.
How to activate the cookie consent:
- Open a landing page, website page or a course theme in the page builder.
- In the header bar, click on Settings.
- Click on Tracking code.
- Activate Enforce cookie consent.
- Select a Type.
- Select a Position.
- Select a Style.
- Use the text editor to customize the text.
- Insert a link to the privacy policy.
- It is best to seek advice on the content, e.g. from a lawyer or from professional or industry organizations.
- Configure the field Display checkbox:
- You want tracking codes to be loaded by default and visitors only to be informed about them:
Deactivate the field. - You want tracking codes to be loaded only after visitors have given their consent:
- Activate the field.
- Enter a checkbox text.

- Configure the field Allow cookie management after consent:
- You do not want visitors to be able to change their cookie settings once they have given their consent:
Deactivate the field. - You want visitors to be able to continue to change their cookie settings after they have given their consent:
Activate the field.
- You do not want visitors to be able to change their cookie settings once they have given their consent:
- Click on Save.
The cookie consent is displayed to the visitor 5 to 10 seconds after they access the page.
