A countdown will count down the time you set and perform an action you choose when the time expires.
For example, you can use the countdown to display or hide information.
How to create a countdown:
- Open a landing page, website page or a course theme in the page builder.
- Insert the component Countdown into the page.
- Click on the gearwheel icon of the component
to configure the component in the side menu.

Fixed date/Fixed time
The countdown runs from now until a fixed time on a fixed date in the future.
This setting is suitable for early bird offers, pre-sales, and limited availability.
Configure the countdown with the fields End date (also sets the time) and Time zone.

Time after the last visit
The countdown starts from the time the visitor accesses the page.
The countdown is reset each time the visitor revisits the page.
This setting is suitable for reinforcing a call to action on the page.
Configure the countdown with the fields days, hours, minutes and seconds.

Select an action that should happen at the end of the countdown:

Redirect to URL
The visitor is redirected to another page.
Configure the action with the field Forwarding URL.
You can set a specific path to a website page or to a landing page.

Show & hide elements
Sections, rows, columns, and components are displayed or hidden when the countdown expires.
Both are possible at the same time. This allows you to swap one element for a different one.
Select elements to show and hide.
