To make sure your buyers recognize which emails have been sent from your member area, Digibiz24 sends emails with the name of your website as the sender, for example: myshop
.
You can customize the sender name, the sender address, the reply address, and the link to the legal notice.

Members use their email address to log in and receive emails from Digibiz24.
Digibiz24 sends emails, for example, when a customer buys a course or a member changes their password.

If you are using a tariff plan with multiple websites, the settings will only apply to one website. You must configure separate settings for each website.
Change sender name
Most email programs display both the email address and the sender name for incoming emails. However, some programs only display the sender's name.
By default, Digibiz24 uses the name of your website as the sender name, e.g. myshop
.
How to change the sender name:
- Switch to the website in Digibiz24 where you want to make changes.
- Click on Website in the menu bar on the left-hand side
- Click on Email settings
- Edit the sender name
- Click on Save.
Use your own sender address
By default, Digibiz24 uses the name of your website as the sender name, e.g. myshop@digibiz24.com
.
If you have your own email server, you can change the address. It is also possible to connect the email address of an email service such as Gmail.
How to use your own email address as the sender address:
- Switch to the website in Digibiz24 where you want to make changes.
- Click on Website in the menu bar on the left-hand side
- Click on Email settings
- Activate the option Custom SMTP
- Enter the required SMTP data:
- SMTP host: Name of the email server.
- SMTP port: Number of the port used.
- Encryption: Type of encryption.
- SMTP username: Username with which you access the email server.
- SMTP password: Password with which you access the email server.
- Send from: Email address to be displayed as the sender address.
If you don't know the data, contact your email service provider or the administrator of your email server.
- Click on Test connection.
If the connection failed (e.g. withConnection refused #111
), then please check your entries.
If necessary, contact your email service provider or the administrator of your email server. - If the test was successful:
- Click on Save.
Change reply address
When a customer replies to a course email, the email will be sent to the email address of your Digibiz24 account by default.
How to use a different reply address:
- Switch to the website in Digibiz24 where you want to make changes.
- Click on Website in the menu bar on the left-hand side
- Click on Email settings
- Enter your reply address in the field Email address for "Reply to".
- Click on Save.
Change link to legal notice
By default, Digibiz24 adds a link to the legal notice at the end of your emails. If you don't change anything, this is the link to the default legal notice, e.g: myshop.digibiz24.com/imprint
.
How to change the link to the legal notice:
- Switch to the website in Digibiz24 where you want to make changes.
- Click on Website in the menu bar on the left-hand side
- Click on Email settings
- Enter the desired address in the field Custom legal notice URL.
- Click on Save.
