- Marketing campaigns can have different aims. For example, the aim may be to make a new brand or product known, promote the branding of an existing brand or product, boost sales, or enhance a brand image.
- Marketing campaigns can be carried out in various ways. For example, via email, social media advertising, in print media, on television or online video portals, on the radio, or in podcasts.
- Regular marketing campaigns raise awareness of the advertised brand or product and give it a positive image.
- Marketing campaigns on the internet are also known as online marketing campaigns. The most common form of online marketing campaigns are email campaigns. In an email campaign, targeted advertising is sent via email to email addresses in an email distribution list. To do this, email addresses must first be collected. An online marketing campaign can therefore also aim to get advertising recipients to enter their email addresses in a mailing list.
- Online marketing campaigns are always geared towards achieving a goal, i.e. they try to redirect advertising recipients to a website with all the important information about the advertised products or service or to a form for entering the email address.
